Terms & Conditions

By registering for any Blacktown Volleyball Academy (BVA) club memberships, competitions, trainings and events, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to all participants, parents and/or guardians (if the participant is under the age of 18) and visitors engaging with BVA competitions, trainings and events.



Club Membership

All participants must register as a member of Blacktown Volleyball Academy with at least 'BVA Recreational Membership' in order to participate in any volleyball competitions, trainings and events hosted by BVA.

  • It is an annual club membership which commences on 1st April 2026 and expires on 31st March 2027.
  • Club memberships must be renewed annually after 1st April 2026 to continue participating in BVA activities.
  • Club membership fees are payable in full at the time of registration, are non-transferrable and non-refundable.
  • BVA reserves the right to decline or suspend club memberships at its discretion.


Conditions of Entry

All participants must comply with all safety instructions, venue rules and lawful directions from BVA staff at all times. BVA reserves the right to refuse entry, suspend or remove any participant from volleyball competitions, trainings and events hosted by BVA, where BVA has reasonable grounds to believe the participant has breached these Terms and Conditions; or engaged in conduct deemed unsafe, inappropriate or disruptive:

  • No smoking, consumption of alcohol or use of illicit drugs at any time.
  • No consumption of food or drinks on the court at any time.
  • Appropriate indoor sports shoes and sportswear must be worn at all times.
  • Partipicants must behave respectfully and follow the lawful directions of BVA staff, officials and venue personnel at all times.
  • Abusive language, aggressive behaviour, harassment or discrimination will not be tolerated at any time.
  • Participants with serious medical conditions or recovering from injuries must notify BVA staff prior to particiption.

Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in removal from the venue or termination of club membership.



Refunds & Cancellations

  • All club memberships, registrations and purchases are final and non-transferrable.
  • Monetary refunds or make-up credits will only be issued if volleyball competitions, trainings and events are cancelled or rescheduled by BVA.
  • BVA reserves the right to review reasonable requests for refunds e.g. serious injury, sickness or personal extenuating circumstances.
  • Refunds, where approved, may take up to 14 business days to process.
  • No refunds or credits will be issued for non-attendance, change of mind or scheduling conflicts.


Photography & Videography

By participating in any volleyball competitions, trainings and events hosted by BVA, all participants consent to BVA capturing and using photography or videography for promotional purposes across social and print media without any compensation.

  • Media content remains the intellectual property of BVA and may not be altered or used for commerical purposes.
  • Participants may download and share BVA's photography and videography only for personal use.


Personal Accident Insurance

Blacktown Volleyball Academy is an affiliated member of Volleyball NSW which provides personal accident insurance coverage for all registered players, coaches and officials when participating in any volleyball competitions, trainings and events hosted by BVA.

  • All members must have at least 'BVA Recreational Membership' prior to any incident that may give rise to a claim.
  • BVA does not administer or assess insurance claims; all enquiries and claims must be made through Marsh directly.

We Support
